Dhiraagu OneNumber Service allows Apple iPhone users to activate a cellular watch and use the same mobile number, data and talk time from their mobile plan on a compatible cellular watch.
With Dhiraagu OneNumber, you can make and receive calls and access the internet on your cellular watch over a 4G connection, even when your phone is not nearby or is switched off.
Activate Dhiraagu OneNumber Service:
Pair the Cellular Watch with your smartphone.
Activate a Mobile Data plan from your Watch or via the Watch companion app.
Follow the prompts on your mobile screen.
You will be directed to Dhiraagu OneNumber activation page.
Enter your NID or passport number to verify the Service Number.
Accept the terms and conditions and generate the OTP.
Enter the OTP to proceed with activation. Ensure your smartphone is switched on and in a good coverage area. A strong Wi-Fi connection is recommended.
Once activated, you will receive an SMS confirmation. Tap “Close” to continue the eSIM profile download to your Watch.
Follow the remaining steps on the companion app and Watch. Once completed, restart your Watch.
For the Cellular Watch to work in standalone mode, turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Ensure Mobile Data is set to "Always On" or as preferred.
You can now use your Cellular Watch independently, even if your smartphone is not nearby or is switched off.
Dhiraagu OneNumber Service is available at a monthly fee of MVR 199. As a promotional offer, the service is free for the first 6 months. There is no separate activation fee.
For postpaid customers, the monthly fee will be billed to your account, while prepaid customers will have the amount deducted from their available balance. You can also re-activate your cellular watch up to five times within a month.
Dhiraagu OneNumber Service is available on all Postpaid and Prepaid voice and data plans, including Traveler plans with voice and SMS.
Eligible Cellular Watches can be activated on Dhiraagu OneNumber Service.
No. Each service number can only be linked to one cellular watch at a time.
Why do I need to enter my NID or passport number during activation?
This is required to verify your Dhiraagu service. Only the NID or passport number of the Dhiraagu account holder can be used for verification, followed by an OTP sent to the registered service number.
Can I activate Dhiraagu OneNumber Service at a Dhiraagu Customer Service Centre or via the Dhiraagu App?
No. The service can only be activated through the default Cellular Watch companion app.
How will I be charged for calls, SMS and data usage on my cellular watch?
Your cellular watch is linked to your primary mobile number. All usage will be billed or deducted from the available balances of your primary mobile plan. Ensure your plan has sufficient balance for uninterrupted service.
Can I use my cellular watch for calls, SMS and data while roaming overseas?
No. International roaming is not currently supported for Dhiraagu OneNumber Service. However, you can still use your watch in Bluetooth mode when connected to your smartphone.
What happens if my primary mobile number is disconnected or suspended?
Your primary mobile number must remain active for your paired cellular watch to function with Dhiraagu OneNumber Service.
Does the cellular watch support 5G?
No. Cellular watches support LTE or 4G only. 5G is not supported.
Can I make or receive calls on my cellular watch while roaming overseas?
No. This service is not currently available. International roaming is not enabled for Dhiraagu OneNumber Service. However, you can still use your watch in Bluetooth mode when connected to your smartphone.
What happens if I change my mobile number?
If you change your primary mobile number, you must unpair the existing number from Dhiraagu OneNumber Service. You can then pair your new number through the smartwatch companion app.
What happens if I accidentally delete the data plan or eSIM profile?
You will need to unpair your existing Dhiraagu OneNumber profile and reactivate the eSIM by following the steps in the smartwatch companion app on your smartphone.
I have lost my watch. What should I do?
You should immediately unpair your primary number from your watch using the companion app. Go to Data Plans in the app and initiate the Dhiraagu OneNumber process. Select “Unpair” to remove the connection between your primary number and the cellular watch.
You may terminate the Service at any time by unpairing the Cellular Watch through the Watch Companion App
The Service is available to Dhiraagu customers with all Postpaid Plans and Prepaid Plans with Voice, SMS and Data
