Topping Up your Dhiraagu Prepaid account is super convenient now with many options for Top-Up.
Convenient ways to top-up your prepaid account:

*GST will be charged at 8%* on Recharge/Reload amount at the point of sale.
* If sold in a tourist establishment GST will be charged at the prevailing tourism sector GST rate.
  • Below are the recharge vouchers we offer and their details
  • To Recharge, dial 151 or send an SMS to 141 in the following format: *141* followed by the 16 digit voucher number and #
  • The Quick Recharge (QR) service allows a Postpaid account holder to transfer credit to your prepaid account, and have the recharge amount applied to the monthly Postpaid bill.

    You can send any denomination from MVR 1 to MVR 500 in MVR 1 increments. The recharge amount will be applied to your monthly mobile bill.

    QR - Postpaid to Prepaid and MAMEN

    Daily limit
    (total for standing instructions and direct transfer)

    QR SMS will be charged at MVR 1, whether or not the transaction is successful. So please ensure that:

    • The prepaid account to which you are making the recharge has not been withdrawn. 
    • The prepaid number which you are recharging is a Dhiraagu Prepaid number
    • The amount you are recharging will not cause the receiving prepaid account to exceed MVR 1800, which is the maximum credit balance that a prepaid account can have.

    You will not be charged for any QR SMS that you receive.

    Note: It is possible that you may face delays in receiving the confirmation SMS indicating a successful transaction.

    • Terms and Conditions
      • Postpaid customers can send any amount from MVR1 to MVR100 in MVR 1 increments, with a daily limit of MVR 500 per customer.
      • A transfer can be only to a Dhiraagu prepaid mobile account that has a validity period remaining. If not, the transaction will be unsuccessful.
      • The monthly limit per customer is MVR 1000.

  • The Quick Transfer (QT) service allows a Prepaid customer to transfer credit to a Prepaid/Mamen customer account by sending an SMS to 144.

    In order to use this service, you'll have to register by following the simple steps below:
    • Terms of service
      • Each SMS to 144 is MVR 1, whether or not the transaction is successful. You will not be charged for receiving a Transfer SMS.
      • GST will be charged at 8%* on Recharge/Reload amount at the point of sale.
      • Prepaid account holders must have sufficient balance in their prepaid account to allow the transaction to be successful.

    A QR SMS will be charged at MVR 1 whether or not the transaction is successful, so please ensuresure that:

    • The prepaid account to which you are making the recharge has not been withdrawn. 
    • The prepaid number which you are recharging is a Dhiraagu Prepaid number;
    • The amount you are recharging will not cause the receiving prepaid account to exceed MVR 1800, which is the maximum credit balance that a prepaid account can have.

    You will not be charged for any QR SMS that you receive.

    Note: It is possible that the SMS you receive confirming the successful transaction could be delayed.

      • Prepaid customers can send any amount from MVR1 to MVR3000, in MVR 1 increments, with a daily limit of MVR 3000 per customer.
      • You should have a validity period remaining. If not, the transaction will be unsuccessful.
      • The monthly limit per customer is MVR 5000.
      • The maximum credit balance that a prepaid account can have is MVR5000.
