  • 1. What are the charges for the service?
    There is no set up fee or monthly charge for this service. Calls from mobiles to 121 will be charged at Rf. 1.50 per minute, and dedications will be charged at Rf. 4 each. Calls made from fixed lines will be charged at Rf. 4 per minute, with no additional cost for dedications.
  • 2. What happens if the call is rejected by the recipient in the case of a dedication to a mobile number?
    121 accepts it as successful delivery and will not retry. The recipient will not be able to retrieve the dedication again.
  • 3. How can I get a Prepaid RED package?
    Prepaid RED kits will be available from all Dhiraagu Customer Service Centres and distributors for just MVR 30 (Inclusive credit of MVR 20)

  • 4. Can I activate Daily RED Benefits AILY RED BENEFITS before the expiry of my existing RED Benefits?
    You will be able to activate Daily RED Benefits when your existing RED Benefits expire. expired.

  • 5. How can I check my account balance?
    To check your account balance press *142# 

    Your account balance will be displayed on your mobile screen.

    You can also check you account balance at any time by calling the free phone number 152 from your mobile phone.
  • 6. Will I know from whom the song was dedicated?
    Yes. When you answer the call from 121, a voice prompt will play back the number from which the song was dedicated. You will also be able to play back the sender’s number a second time. If you do not wish to listen to the message, simply hang up.
  • 7. Can I enroll to Prepaid Rewards?
    Yes, you can enroll to Dhiraagu Prepaid Reward and redeem your points with rewards bundles.

  • 8. I have subscribed to an SMS bundle. If I activate Daily RED Benefits, can I still be able to SMS at 1 Laari?
    If you have subscribed to an SMS bundle, or if you have redeemed your rewards points for an SMS bundle, your FREE SMS will be exhausted first. After that you can enjoy SMS at 1 Laari till your Daily RED Benefits expire (which is 24 hours from activation)

  • 9. Can I send a greeting on a future date?
    Yes, as long as you select a date within the following 90 days.
  • 10. What will happen if I click on a photo on 0.facebook.com?
    If you click a photo on the 0.facebook.com, you will be notified that you are accessing a content that might apply Data charges. Accessing Photos and visiting external links will incur Data charges.

  • 11. Can I change my existing prepaid plan to RED?
    Yes, you can change your existing prepaid package to RED, by visiting any Dhiraagu front Office.

  • 12. What is Dhiraagu 121 service?
    121 is a service through which you can send songs and greetings to any Dhiraagu mobile or fixed line in the Maldives. In addition to your selected song or greeting, you can also add your own personal message. The dedication goes to the receiver as an incoming voice call, with your personalized message played first, followed by the song or greeting.
  • 13. Can I send a song to customers other than Dhiraagu?
    No, this service is only available for Dhiraagu customers.
  • 14. What happens if an invalid number or international number is entered?
    121 will accept only 7-digit national numbers. In case of an invalid number being entered, the sender will be requested to confirm the number to which the dedication is to be sent. The sender will be charged for the call time. Once a valid number is entered, the dedication will be charged, if from a mobile.
  • 15. What happens if the call is not answered by the recipient?
    121 will try calling the receiver’s number 3 times, with a 45minute interval. If there is no answer after 3 attempts, the dedication is cancelled.
    If the recipient is busy, the system will retry 3 times with an interval of 30 minutes between each attempt. If there is still no answer the dedication is cancelled.

  • 16. Will I be charged for the songs I select?
    No, you will not be charged separately for selecting songs. If you are calling from a mobile, apart from the call, you will be charged Rf. 4 for each dedication you send. For fixed lines, the only charge is for the call to 121, at Rf. 4 per minute.
  • 17. Will I be charged for the calls I receive from 121?
    No. All incoming calls from 121 are free.
