We would like to advise all our internet customers affected by the recent damage to our international submarine cable that the restoration work is ongoing and the cable ship 'ASEAN Explorer' is due to arrive in Colombo on 25th April 2012 for the repairs.

Dhiraagu Chief Executive, Ismail Rasheed said "we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers and we are looking into providing compensation for customers who have experienced degradation of internet service during this period".

Furthermore he also stated that "we have increased capacity on our diversity paths, which has helped to improve service levels".

We thank our customers for their understanding and patience during this period and assure them that work is ongoing to restore service at the earliest.
