On the occasion of the Independence Day, Dhiraagu has made special arrangements to introduce - price IDD (International Direct Dialled) calls to Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, UK and Australia.

The special rates are 50% off, the current IDD peak rate, for calls made from 00:00hrs to 08:00hrs and from 20:00hrs to 2359 hrs from 26-29 July 2000.

The reduced rate applies to all calls to these countries made from fixed lines, mobile phones and card phones across the Maldives. The only exception is International calls made through the Operators For international calls made on mobile phones the standard Rf2/- per minute surcharge would still apply.
