The virus protection feature of the service scans the customer’s inbound and outbound emails for all known viruses before passing them on to its final destination.

If a virus is detected, the email is automatically stopped from being delivered and the sender and intended recipient are notified via email, allowing appropriate action to be taken. Virus updates are continuously and automatically performed across the network with instant updates carried out in the event of a new virus outbreak.

The spam (“junk mail”) protection feature uses a combination of several techniques to identify and stop spam, including artificial intelligence that learns from experience and improves its detection capability over time. The service is known to be over 96% effective in filtering spam.

All emails of customers subscribing to this service will continue to be delivered in the usual fashion, unless an email contains a virus or is categorized as spam.
