Dhiraagu has implemented ‘Dhiraagu Smart Teaching Solution’ at Maldives National University (MNU), a system which connects all of MNU’s campuses across the country.

The solution was contributed by Dhiraagu under its CSR programme, where youth development and youth empowerment is a significant focus area.

Dhiraagu Smart Teaching Solution will connect all of MNU’s campuses located in Hdh. Kulhudhuffushi, G.Dh.Thinadhoo, L. Gan, and S. Hithadhoo with the main campus in Male’, enabling live lectures to be delivered among all its campuses, simultaneously.

As a result, students will have access to lecture sessions as well as study materials, regardless of the campus they are located in. The solution also offers recording facility which enables lectures to be recorded and archived in the system, to be referred to at a later date if required, from any location. In addition to that, in enables virtual resource sharing, exchange of ideas and networking opportunities amongst students and lecturers from any of the campuses. The system would immensely benefit the entire student population of MNU across the country.

Dhiraagu-MNU Live Teaching Solution will potentially lead to introduction of new courses, which can be made available in all campuses throughout the country.
