Dhiraagu
has introduced its groundbreaking and completely revamped postpaid service last
night.
The
new postpaid was unveiled at a special event held last night at the National
Art Gallery.
A
key feature of the new postpaid is its simplicity, affordability and focus on
digital mediums. Users simply have to set their data preferences, and most
other key services are provided free.
Once
data is set, customers can use popular social media apps including Facebook,
Twitter, WhatsApp, Viber, Instagram and Snapchat for free up to 3GB.
Additionally, local apps such as all Dhiraagu apps, Bank of Maldives Online
banking app, prayer time app SalatMv, and QueueBee can be used freely.
With
the new postpaid, customers can call and text any Dhiraagu number as many times
and for however long as they wish. Customers can also call numbers of other
local networks as much as they want or up to 300 minutes per month depending on
the amount of data they purchase. Additionally, customers also get a 50%
discount on IDD calls to three of their preferred countries.
Dhiraagu’s
new postpaid service offers the most affordable and value-for-money mobile
options in the Maldives at present. The upgraded postpaid features the
following data denominations at the following price points: 2GB for MVR350, 5Gb
for MVR550, 10GB for MVR750 and 20GB for MVR1000. However, customers need not
settle for these data denominations as they have the option to combine any of
these denominations with add-ons of either 1GB at MVR85 or 5GB at MVR350 to set
their own requirement.
Purchasing
data from any of these denominations ensures eligibility to get free social
media apps, unlimited talk and text as well as IDD discounts. However, Dhiraagu’s
postpaid also features a basic plan for customers with less intensive data
requirements. The MVR150 basic plan offers 500MB of data, with free local apps
and 300 minutes of talk time and unlimited SMS to any local network number.
Customers can also buy data boosts of either 1GB or 5GB for this basic plan.
