Dhiraagu has announced a special IDD promotion for the Hajj season enabling international calls to Saudi Arabia at just Rf 1.95 per minute. This offer is valid anytime during the period 25 Nov to 25 Dec 2007.

Dhiraagu customers using Friends & Family discount scheme can call at Rf 1.76 per minute to nominated international numbers. This promotion will allow Dhiraagu customers to easily be in touch with their friends and family members who have traveled to Saudi Arabia on Hajj pilgrimage.

With the recent introduction of Dhiraagu mobile prepaid roaming service, Hajj pilgrims can now use their Dhiraagu mobile prepaid in Saudi Arabia to receive calls, send and receive SMS. This new facility will ease them from the hassle of buying SIM cards, recharge vouchers or using calling cards.

For this special period Dhiraagu prepaid customers using roaming facility in Saudi Arabia can receive calls for as low as Rf 6.95, which is cheaper than calling from Saudi Arabia to Maldives using Saudi IDD payphones.

For the past several years Dhiraagu has been offering special IDD rates during Hajj period to facilitate customers to keep close contact with the Hajj pilgrims in a very affordable way.
