As a proud partner, Dhiraagu is pleased to support this flagship open water event, which not only showcases the Maldives’ strong connection to the ocean but also fosters safe, inclusive spaces for young people to engage, compete, and grow. More than a sporting competition, the event reflects our broader vision of building stronger communities through meaningful, youth-focused initiatives.
“This partnership reflects our commitment to promoting active lifestyles and embracing the growing passion for sea sports across the country. Through mass participation events like this, we aim to create inclusive platforms and meaningful opportunities for youth and communities to stay active and healthy.” stated Mohamed Mirshan Hassan, Director, Brand and Marketing Communications at Dhiraagu.
“We thank Dhiraagu for supporting this competition at its inception from 2019 onwards. Their support has enabled us to bring our vision to life and provide a platform for swimmers of all ages to come together, compete, and grow. It also helps us raise greater awareness around swimming as a sport, as well as its link to health, fitness, and marine conservation,” stated Hussain Shameem, President at Swim Maldives.
