This year’s Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR) has contributed MVR 678,800 to 13 NGOs in their work to help protect children.

Speaking at the event held to handover the prizes and donations of DMRR 2025, Dhiraagu’s Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility stated “Our DMRR theme, Help Protect Children, reflects our longstanding commitment to supporting children. This year, we partnered with 13 NGOs dedicated to the protection, inclusion, and support of children. DMRR is more than a run-it’s a celebration of purpose and community. Our commitment also extends to caring for the environment. Powered by renewable energy with 100% of electricity use offset, this year’s event also reinforces how technology and sustainability can make large-scale events both exciting and environmentally responsible.”

At the time of registration for DMRR 2025, participants were given the opportunity to nominate an NGO of their choice and a special grant of MVR 200,000 from Dhiraagu was distributed amongst the top five nominated NGOs from the runners.
