Dhiraagu has today announced the launch of Mobile Content Mania (MCM) 2012 competition.

This exciting competition is exclusive for Dhiraagu Mobile customers, especially targeted for the youth to create and upload their own contents and win grand prizes.

This is an opportunity for the youth to use their mobile phones, cameras and other devices in useful and creative ways and show their skills to win prizes. The competition will be open from 20th January to 17th February 2012.

MCM 2012 has three different content categories; Audio, Image and Video. A special website has been launched for participants to register and upload their contents for the competition. The content uploaded will be moderated and made available on the MCM website.

The competition is designed into 3 stages; in the first stage the top 10 contents from each category will be selected through public voting via SMS.

In the second stage, judges of the competition will select the top three contents among the top 10 contents from each category and open them for a second round of public voting via SMS to select the best content in the final stage.

Upon launching of MCM Dhiraagu Manager Marketing Communications and Public Relations Mohamed Mirshan Hassan said, ‘Dhiraagu introduced MCM with the intention of inspiring Maldivian youth to be creative in the area of mobile content, applications and services.

MCM will also help to identify new talent and for participants to show their skills. We are positive that our youth will have a fun experience with this competition’.
