Dhiraagu has launched ‘Pick me up’ service, for the first time in the Maldives.

Dhiraagu ‘Pick me up’ service is an easy-to-use service, where customers can send a message to either a family member, or a friend, to pick them up or offer them a lift via a USSD code, when you are low on credit or in a difficult situation to make a call.

This service will be provided free of charge for all Dhiraagu Prepaid and Postpaid Customers, and can be used even at zero balance.

Speaking upon the launch of this all new sevice, Dhiraagu Public Relations Manager Mr. Imjad Jaleel said, “Dhiraagu is making every effort to modernize our services and make them more attractive, especially for the youth segment. This is an easy-to-use service where customers can ask their family or a friend to pick them up, even with zero balance, and will be free to use for all Dhiraagu Customers. We hope that this service will be immensely useful and popular among our customers, similar to our ‘Call me back’ service.”

Customers will simply need to dial *200# and follow the instructions. Once the recipient’s number is entered, customers will get to mention their location as well as the time to ‘pick them up’ within a 48-character limit.

Dhiraagu Product Manager Mobile Services Development, Mr. Ahmed Ishan stated that customers can send these requests even to numbers of other networks and each customer can send up to 5 ‘Pick me up’ requests per day.

Dhiraagu is currently providing the ‘Call me back’ service via USSD Code, and customer service options can be accessed easily by dialing *123#. In addition to that, Dhiraagu Postpaid Customers can check their billed amount, simply by sending a blank SMS to 727.
