Dhiraagu introduces ‘Roadha Hadhiya’ promotion for Ramazan. This is a special promotion launched for the holy month of Ramazan, giving Dhiraagu customers extra special benefits during this special month. The Roadha Hadhiya promotion will run from 13th September to 13th October 2007.
The special promotional offers include:
1 Hajj and 5 Umra Pilgrimage
Any customer who makes voice calls of 100 minutes or more from their Dhiraagu mobiles during the month of Ramazan will be included in a lucky draw. Those selected through this draw will have the chance of going on Hajj or Umra pilgrimage. There will be 6 draws taken, one winner for Hajj pilgrimage and 5 winners for Umra pilgrimage.
4 Digital Qurans every week
A lucky draw will be held among the mobile customers who have made voice calls of 6 minutes or more during the week. Each week 4 winners will be selected and each winner will be awarded with a digital Quran IDD Rates Reduced to Rf 2.49
IDD call rates during the promotion period are reduced to Rf 2.49 for popular destinations, customers using Dhiraagu fixed lines, mobile Postpaid, mobile Prepaid and Payphones will be entitled to this special rate. These destinations include Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh, United Kingdom, Thailand, Pakistan, Australia, Canada and USA. This special rate will be applicable from 2300 hrs to 1100 hrs of next day, and all day Fridays. Customers using Friends & Family scheme will be able to call at further reduced rate of Rf 2.24.
Talk 3 minutes and get FREE 3 minutes
Dhiraagu mobile customers making calls to Dhiraagu mobiles and fixed lines between 0000 hrs to 0800 hrs will receive free 3 minutes for every 3 minutes they talk. The maximum duration of a call will be limited to 2 hours.
FREE Wi-Fi at Wireless Zones
Dhiraagu customers will be able to enjoy 1 hour of free Wi-Fi Internet every day at Dhiraagu Wireless Zones across the country. To obtain a free account customers need to simply send an SMS using their Dhiraagu mobile. Each mobile number will be limited for one account per day and the free account will expire within 7 days of obtaining. SMS Doubled
Prepaid customers get 40 SMS during every recharge and Postpaid customers get 100 sms.
Local Market Prices via SMS
Dhiraagu will launch an SMS based service to provide latest local market prices during the holly month of Ramazan. Latest prices will be updated on an hourly basis from 1300 hrs to 1700 hrs everyday. Customers will be able to check prices of Fruits, Vegetables and Fish by simply sending an SMS to 400 with the keywords.
Radio Streaming
Mobile Radio Streaming service will be launched during the month of Ramazan. This service is offered for the first time in the Maldives and Dhiraagu mobile customers will be able to listen to Voice of Maldives AM channel by login into mymobile.mv and selecting ‘VOM Streaming’. GPRS will be charged at the existing rate.
Religious Contents
During the Holly month, religious contents will be offered through MyTones, www.mymobile.mv and 121 services. Religious contents such as Madhaha, Wallpapers, Animations and Truetones will be updated throughout the month.
Discounts at Dhiraagu Shops
5%-20% discounts will be offered on selected handsets at Dhiraagu Mobileshop and Teleshop during the promotion period.
