Dhiraagu is pleased to announce major reductions in fixed line call charges.

Effective today, the rate for national calls from fixed lines to postpaid and prepaid mobile phones will be reduced from Rf2 to Rf1.50 per minute.

Also effective today, the highest fixed line national call rate will be reduced from Rf1.70 to Rf1.25. All calls will continue to be charges to the nearest 1 second.

With this change, Dhiraagu fixed line customers will be able to enjoy savings up to 26% on these calls.

Initially the reduced rates will be applicable to fixed lines other than public card phones. For card phone users the new rates will become effective on 4 October 2005.

The fixed line tariff reduction today is the latest in a series of initiatives taken by Dhiraagu to make all our services more affordable to our customers.
