    Dhiraagu Introduces Direct Debit With Bank Of Maldives
    Dhiraagu is pleased to announce today, the introduction of Direct Debit service with the Bank of Maldives PLC.

    Direct Debit service is a FREE service which allows customers to pay their Dhiraagu bills automatically every month, without having to write cheques or visit a Dhiraagu Customer Front Office. Under the customer's instructions the bank pays the customer's monthly bill, deducting the amount from his or her bank account on the due date of the bill.

    Application forms for the service can be obtained from Dhiraagu Customer Front Office or downloaded from our website www.dhiraagu.com.mv.

    Dhiraagu CEO, Ismail Waheed said, "Direct debit is a very convenient, easy and safe way for customers to pay their bills. Many of our customers who bank with Bank of Maldives had been waiting for this service and I am delighted that we have introduced this service today, in partnership with Bank of Maldives."

    Note to Editors:
    Dhiraagu first introduced Direct Debit service with the State Bank of India, in September 2001. We will be introducing the service with other banks in the Maldives when they are ready.
