Dhiraagu is pleased to announce the introduction of DhiMobile SmartSIM, an advanced SIM card offering more capacity and a number of modern enhanced services. The key features of this state-of-the-art SIM are:
• Higher capacity - Customers can store up to 30 SMS messages and 250 names in the SmartSIM compared to 15 SMS and 100 names in the old SIM.
• Menu-based access to SMS value-added services - With the SmartSIM customers will see an additional menu called "DhiMobile" on their phone. Services such as SMS Bill Enquiry, SMS Directory Enquiry and Picture Messages can be conveniently accessed from this menu without using special codes or numbers.
• Remote updating of SIM - Dhiraagu can update the SIM menu remotely so that customers do not have to visit Dhiraagu to update their SIM every time a new SMS based service is introduced.
The SmartSIM will also make it possible for DhiMobile customers to customize their SIM menu directly through the handset or through the Internet, and to have 2 different DhiMobile numbers on one SIM when these services are introduced later this year.
Existing DhiMobile Post-Paid and Pre-Paid customers wishing to replace their existing SIM card with a SmartSIM may do so at the standard SIM replacement charge of Rf200.
