Dhiraagu has today announced the introduction of 2% discount on monthly bills for all Direct Debit users and commenced a special promotion for new subscribers.

Customers who newly subscribe to the Direct Debit service before 10th April 2012 will be entitled for a chance to win an iPad 2 in a lucky draw where five winners will be selected.

The discount and the promotional offer for new subscribers are applicable for individuals and residential customers.

Existing users of Direct Debit service will get the discount effective from their March 2012 bills.

Dhiraagu Direct Debit service which is available to Bank of Maldives and State Bank of India account holders was first introduced in 2003 and it has been the most convenient way for customers to pay their bills.

There will be no additional charges for customers to subscribe to Dhiraagu Direct Debit service.

To apply for the service, customers will simply have to submit an application form where they will advise their Bank to make timely settlements of their monthly bill amounts to Dhiraagu, automatically via their bank accounts.
