The official inauguration was graced by Minister of Homeland Security and Technology, Ali Ihusaan. Speaking at the event, the minister stated, “Today, Dhiraagu has made history by unveiling the Maldives’ first-ever Tier IV Certified Data Center, setting a new benchmark for the country’s digital infrastructure. The government is committed to providing the best services to the business community in the Maldives. In line with global efforts to enhance digital infrastructure and strengthen the digital economy, this achievement places the Maldives on equal footing with other leading nations worldwide.”

Speaking at the event, the CEO and MD at Dhiraagu, Ismail Rasheed stated, "It is a great pleasure and honor for us to open Maldive's first Tier-4 certified data centre. The Tier-4 certification indicates that the data center is built to the highest industry standards in terms of infrastructure, reliability and security. This will further strengthen the business continuity of the businesses and provide additional convenience to the users of cloud services and various applications.”
