Dhiraagu has distributed Eid Hadhiyaa across parts of the country on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Eid Hadhiya distribution took place in 5 areas of Male and in 8 atolls where Dhiraagu Regional Operations Centres are located following the Eid Prayer and during the evening at areas where kids were flocking together to enjoy this occasion.

In Male, Dhiraagu distributed Eid Hadhiya this morning after the Eid Prayer at Islamic Centre, Masjidul Furqan, ADK Hospital, IGM Hospital and at the Hulhumale Central Park.

Speaking regarding this initiative, Dhiraagu Public Relations Manager Imjad Jaleel said, ‘Dhiraagu being a company which represents the whole Maldivian community, we felt that we should be a part of this joyous occasion to reignite the tradition of exchanging gifts and spreading the happiness of this day. We are so glad to have brought a smile on these kids’ faces today.”

Imjad also extended warm greetings of this joyous occasion to all the Maldivians.

In addition to Male City, ‘Eid Hadhiya’ was distributed following the Eid Prayer today at 5 pre-schools of Addu City, Hithadhoo Regional Hospital and International Medical and Diagnostic Centre by its Seenu Operations Centre. This also took place at Fuvahmulah Maaneyru area today.

Following the distributions in the morning, Dhiraagu regional operations centres also carried out the initiative at the following areas today evening:
•  HDh. Kulhudhuffushi – Ameenee Magu
•  GA. Gahdhoo – Eid Ufaa Area
•  B. Eydhafushi – Hikki Bin Area
•  L. Fonadhoo & L. Gan – Harbour Area
•  L. Gan Mathimaradhoo – Centre for Holy Quran Area
•  L. Thundhi – Ihahdhoo School Stage Area
•  GDh. Thinadhoo – Kids’ Park and Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital Area
•  ADh. Dhangethi – Stadium Area where Jamiyyathul Anwar Futsal Tournament sponsored by Dhiraagu is taking place.

Further to this initiative, Dhiraagu also handed over the donations of the SMS proceedings of the Iftar @ HIH Promotion held during the month of Ramadan, to Centre of People with Special Needs, today.
