Dhiraagu has become the Exclusive telecom partner of the MILO Club Maldives Cup 2016.

The agreement was announced today at a special ceremony held at Dhiraagu Head Office. The agreement was exchanged by Mr. Ahmed Maumoon, Director Marketing and Manager Marketing Communications & PR Mr. Mohamed Mirshan Hassan on behalf of Dhiraagu, and by Mr. Abdul Rasheed Ali and Ismail Shuvaidh on behalf of Club Maldives.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dhiraagu Manager Marketing Communications & PR Mr. Mohamed Mirshan Hassan said, “It is with immense pleasure that we take part in the largest and the most popular futsal tournament in the country as the telecom partner. We thank Club Maldives for choosing Dhiraagu as the exclusive telecom partner of this event, and along with Club Maldives, we hope to make this year’s tournament an even better and a more successful tournament for all stakeholders involved.”

On behalf of the Club Maldives Cup Organizing Body, Mr. Abdul Rasheed said, “We are glad to have got the Maldives’ largest and the most popular network on board with us as the telecom partner of this tournament. We hope to maintain this good relationship with Dhiraagu, and build on the success of the previous 10 consecutive years of this tournamnet to make this 11th edition even better along with Dhiraagu. Club Maldives is convinced that the participation of Dhiraagu would undoubtedly make the tournament better.”

In order to build up the hype of the tournament, Dhiraagu, as the telecom partner of the tournament, will be conduction various promotions via SMS, the details of which will be disclosed at a later date.

The futsal tournament, which is the one of the largest of its kind, draws numerous Government Offices and Government-owned companies, as well as some private companies invited by the organizers. The tournament is currently in its 11th edition, and in 2012, the organizers added the women’s division, 18/30 Womens’ Futsal Fiesta to the tournament to be run simultaneously with the men’s division.
