Dhiraagu is pleased to announce major reductions on IDD call tariffs effective from 1st February 2007. The new rates are as follows:

3.00 Canada, China, USA, Singapore
3.50 Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand
3.90 Australia, Bangladesh, India, Japan, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka
4.90 Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Qatar,Romania, Russia,Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UAE, UK, Ukraine
5.90 Brunei, Iran, Mauritius, Morocco, Nepal, Oman, Philippines, Seychelles, Tunisia
7.00 Bhutan
9.00 Other countries

The revised rates apply all day everyday. Friends and Family discount has been reduced from 25% to 10% as it will now be applied for 24hours instead of only during off-peak hours. Charging will continue to be in one second increments.

The reduction in IDD call rates is the latest in a series of initiatives taken by Dhiraagu to provide the best value for its customers.

Over the last several years Dhiraagu has regularly reduced the cost of international calling including introducing 1 second billing, extending the off-peak hours for frequently called countries, introducing a Friends and Family discount scheme for mobile and fixed line residential customers and an IDD discount scheme for small to medium organizations.
