Dhiraagu is pleased to announce major reductions of 20% in prepaid call tariffs during peak and off-peak hours with effect from 1st May 2007. The revised rates are as follows:

Peak Off-Peak Late - Night
Calls to Dhiraagu numbers Rf 1.00 per minute Rf 1.00 per minute 55 laari per minute
Calls to other national mobile networks Rf 1.50 per minute Rf 1.50 per minute 55 laari per minute

Dhiraagu continues to include 20 free SMS with every account recharge, and the cross-net calling rate of Rf1.50 per minute and GPRS tariff of Rf0.01 per Kb remains unchanged. All prepaid calls continue to be charged on a per second basis.

The competitive off-peak and late night time-bands and call charges Dhiraagu now offers for its mobile customers, coupled with the Dhiraagu Friends and family scheme where up to five national numbers can be nominated for a friends and family discount of 15%, ensure that Dhiraagu customers continue to experience the best value mobile service in the Maldives. Friends and Family discount scheme is not applicable for late night time-band.
