Dhiraagu is pleased to announce that an additional two GSM base stations have been installed and three existing base stations upgraded in Male' over the past 2 months.

A fourth base station will be upgraded and two more installed in Male' over the next month.

This Rf 5million expansion will provide extra capacity for DhiMobile customers in the Male' area to ensure a high quality service is maintained with the rapid increase in the number of mobile users.

DhiMobile service was introduced in November 1999 and currently over 34,000 customers (including 22,000 Pre-Paid customers) use the service.
