Sustainability and good governance are integral to our company strategy. During the past year, we supported our community through our CSR programs focusing on empowering women and young people, supporting children and helping to protect the environment.

Last year, as part of Dhiraagu’s commitment to supporting the government’s ‘Netu Heyo’ initiative to reduce home internet prices together with mobile data prices, we brought significant changes with increased value to our customers. This allowed our customers on Dhiraagu Fibre Broadband to enjoy up to 100% more data allowance on their packages and up to 50% reduction in overall data price where they can get more value without having to spend any additional charges. Additionally, we introduced all-new Postpaid and Prepaid plans offering simple and flexible mobile plans.

As the pandemic continues with the rising of new variants, digital connectivity has become an even bigger part of people’s lives today. To ensure that more people have access to high-speed connectivity, we have extended our high-speed fibre network to 74 islands across the nation as of December 2021. It is our goal to empower inclusive digital communities across the nation and keep them connected.

Moving into the year, we have progressed a strategy that strives to expand coverage, exploit the potential that emerging technologies such as 5G can offer, improve our core network capability and resiliency to further improve our customers’ experience. We will continue to enhance our consumer and enterprise portfolio while assessing the various prospects to work towards achieving our vision of a ‘Digital Raajje’.

We remain focused on innovating our existing products and services while introducing new digital solutions to ensure easy access for customers through increased digital channels and continue to provide enhanced customisation of our products to meet the personal needs of our customers.
