Such an accolade serves as a validation of our relentless investments and the dedication of our teams to bring the best service experience and empower our customers to embrace the digital future with confidence.

We have made remarkable progress in expanding and transforming our digital infrastructure to provide fixed and mobile broadband to our customers. High-speed fibre broadband is now accessible to more than 97% of national households and 5G coverage now extending to more than 55% of the population. The roll out of these services to remaining islands continue in earnest.
 
The recent reinforcement of our domestic submarine cable system further underscores our commitment to ensuring efficient data connectivity and improved network reliability. Connecting our digital network to the SEA-ME-WE 6 submarine cable system is a major step towards setting up the Maldives as a global digital hub and increasing the resiliency of the country’s digital backbone. This enables us to directly access strategic digital hubs across the world to provide our customers with higher speeds, diverse connectivity, reduce latency and help us decrease the cost of internet services in the future.

Dhiraagu’s ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification codifies our commitment to excellence, ensuring thorough information security management to protect our valued customers.

A state-of-the art Security Operations Centre (SOC) has been set up and Network Operations Centre (NOC) upgraded to further strengthen our operational resilience, assuring security and reliability for our customers.

Our strategic partnerships and initiatives, including collaborations with Beyon Cyber, stand as testaments to our dedication to deliver top-notch services tailored to meet the evolving needs of our enterprise clients.
 
We are excited to announce the relaunch of our DhiraaguPay service, following the establishment of Dhiraagu Fintech Pvt Ltd, a full subsidiary of Dhiraagu, which has been issued a Payment Service Provider License by the Maldives Monetary Authority. This milestone enables us to offer more innovative digital financial solutions and elevate our mobile money service to better serve our customers.
