Further to the public announcement issued this morning on the service interruption to Haa Alif, Haa Dhaal and north of Shaviyani atoll, we would like to keep you informed that our teams are fully engaged on site and are continuously working to restore the service as soon as possible.
The service interruption was caused due to a fire in one of the unmanned node site in Shaviyani atoll Kanditheem. The installation of the equipment is in progress, we expect the systems to be restored and service to be resumed during the next 3 hours.
The relevant authorities will investigate the cause of the fire. However, our priority is to fully restore and resume providing all services to the affected region at earliest.
