As outlined in our previous public announcement of 19 December 2008, a problem to the major international submarine cable systems between Egypt and France continues to cause degradation of Internet services, occasionally leading to slower speed when accessing some internet websites.

We have been advised that the recovery teams have made much progress on the cables and expect normal service to resume by next week.

Meanwhile, Dhiraagu continues to provide service using alternative east-bound routes in order to minimize any inconvenience to our customers.
