We would like to inform our customers that we have been informed by our international counterparts that there is a problem caused to the SE.ME.WE 4 international submarine cable between Egypt and France.
Hence, customers using our Internet service may experience some difficulties such as slow browsing and high latency while accessing international websites and services mainly hosted in the United States, Europe and Middle East.
To alleviate the congestion, the traffic has been diverted to our east bound alternative routes to lessen the impact on our service to customers.
We will keep customers informed as we know more about the restoration work that is underway in that region.
