Dhiraagu is pleased to announce that DhiMobile coverage will be extended to the following inhabited islands over the next 8 months.

• Shaviyani Komandoo
• Faafu Nilandhoo
• Dhaalu Kudahuvadhoo
• Thaa Veymandoo, Thimarafushi and Guraidhoo
• Laamu Gan
• Gaafu Alifu Kolamaafushi, Dhaandhoo and Gemanafushi

In addition to these 10 inhabited islands, mobile coverage will also be provided to a number of industrial islands including Kaafu Thilafushi.

This expansion of mobile coverage is part of a Rf168 million project being carried out by Dhiraagu to expand and enhance DhiMobile service. When the project is completed early next year, mobile coverage will be available to 78 % of the population and all the major industrial islands.

Since DhiMobile service was introduced 1999, Dhiraagu has been extending mobile coverage to additional islands each year. We will continue to strategically expand mobile coverage further over the coming years whilst at the same time enhancing the service to ensure that our customers are able to enjoy modern, high quality, reliable and affordable mobile communications.
