DhiMobile SMS (Short Message Service) will be launched on 20 May 2001.

The service allows customers to send and receive text messages (up to 160 characters long) from their mobile handsets to other DhiMobile users. Tariffs are as follows:

• Once-off set-up Fee Rf 100/-
• Monthly Fee Rf 30/-
• To send SMS Rf 1/- per message sent

All DhiMobile Customers can receive SMS text messages FREE without subscribing to the service
