Dhiraagu wishes to advise all customers that due to sun interference there will be a degradation in all communication between Male' and the Southern Atolls (Gaafu Alif, Gaafu Dhaal, Gnaviyani and Seenu) during the period 19 to 23 March 2006, between 1312 to1314 hrs in the afternoon for about 8 minutes.

In addition there will be an interruption to all international telecommunication services (including Internet and DhiMobile International Roaming) during the period 7 March to 14 April 2006, between 1233 to1338 hrs in the afternoon for about 8 minutes.

Sun interference is a natural phenomenon that occurs every year when the sun, communications satellites and Earth Stations become aligned, causing solar noise to interfere with the satellite communication signals.
