We would like to inform all our customers that the 6th Amendment to the Maldives Goods and Services Tax Act (Law no. 20/2022) which was ratified on 22 November 2022 increasing the tax rates will be effective from 1 January 2023.

In reference to this amendment, General Sector Goods and Service Tax will increase from 6% (six percent) to 8% (eight percent). Therefore, all the bills/invoices issued from 1 January 2023 will be subject to GST at 8%.
