Dhiraagu will replace the existing phone card arrangements with vendors and offer the bulk purchase of phone cards to all interested parties without any vendor-ship agreements. The soon to be introduced prepaid vouchers will also be sold in a similar manner. The following procedures will be implemented.

• From 26 September 2001 bulk prepaid vouchers will be sold at a face discount of 8%. The minimum purchase quantity is 20 prepaid cards.
• From 01 October 2001, bulk phone cards will be sold at a face discount of 8%. The minimum purchase quantity will be 50 phone cards.

Dhiraagu is keen to ensure the public has easy access to phone cards and prepaid cards. By eradicating the need to have vendor agreements a big step towards this goal has been taken. To qualify for the above mentioned discounts National Identity Cards, agreements, etc will no longer be needed as the discounts will be given to any individual making bulk purchases from the appropriate Dhiraagu outlets.

Dhiraagu will offer discounts higher than 8% on a selective basis to card vendors that do high volumes of business.
