We are pleased to announce that the Board of Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun Plc have at its recent meeting held on 19 April 2022, resolved to create the role of a Chief Technology & Information Officer.

Reporting directly to CEO & MD, the CTIO will be responsible for leading all technology, networks, engineering, and IT related functions in Dhiraagu, and will be responsible for setting policies and managing information systems, governance, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.

The Board of Directors have approved the appointment of Mohamed Musad, the current Director Digital Transformation to the position of the Chief Technology & Information Officer.

Musad is a qualified and an accomplished Technology leader with comprehensive experience in leading operations and project teams in the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of various networks and technologies in the telecommunication industry. He is a Chartered Engineer (Engineering Council, UK) with over 21 years of expertise, and holds a Master of Commerce Information Systems, from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, a Master of Business Administration, from Australian Institute of Business, Australia, and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mobile Telecommunication Technology, from The University of Hull, United Kingdom.

This change will be made effective from 1 of May 2022.
