Cable & Wireless Communications Plc (“CWC”), which owns 52% of the issued share capital of DHIRAAGU, has announced that it has received an approach from Batelco Group (Bahrain) regarding a possible transaction involving its Monaco & Islands business unit. At this point, there can be no certainty that the discussions will lead to a transaction. A further announcement will be made, if appropriate, in due course.
