Upgrade work of Dhiraagu Fixed Broadband Network 100% Completed

We would like to inform all our customers that, we have successfully completed the major upgrade work on our Male’ fixed broadband network to improve the overall service quality. As part of this project, we relocated some of our key technical equipment at our former site in Medhuziyaaraiy Magu to various enhanced sites across Male’ City. We are happy to note that 100% of the work has now been completed.

Subsequent to this, we understand that there are some customers experiencing prolonged service interruption and degradations. We would like to reassure that everything is being done to minimize the impact on these customers and to restore the affected connections by next week.

Speaking with regard to the matter, Dhiraagu Director Customer Services and Sales, Mr. Ali Riyaz said, “Our primary objective has always been to provide the services of the highest quality. In doing so, we have been regularly upgrading our infrastructure as well. We deeply regret the fact that a significant number of our customers were affected during this period and we would like to apologize to them for that. We would like to assure all our customers that with this upgrade of service, our customers would experience an even more superior service from our network.”

As a token of appreciation for their understanding and patience during this period, the Management of Dhiraagu has decided to provide all affected fixed broadband customers with 20% discount on their bills for the month of March 2016.
