Have a personalized SMS sent automatically to anyone who used their mobile phone to call you. The personalized SMS can be sent to all callers or just to a selected few.

  • Rates indicated are subject to 6% GST.
  • GST will be charged at 6%* on Recharge/Reload amount at the point of sale.
    * If sold in a tourist establishment GST will be charged at the prevailing tourism sector GST rate.

Get Started

If you are a Postpaid customer and already use the Missed Call Alert service, you are
automatically in. Otherwise, simply forward all calls in the
'unreachable' condition to +960146.

SEND SMS to 146:

1 To activate Out of Office:
  • OOF ENABLE followed by your personal message.
    Eg: oof enable: Thank you for your call. I’ll get back to you shortly
2 To TEMPORARILY stop the Out of Office feature:
    Eg: oof stop
3 To restart Out of Office feature after a temporary stop:
    Eg: oof start
4 To add numbers to your selected personal list (Maximum of 10 numbers at a time:
  • OOF ADD followed by number to be added.
    Eg: Oof add: 7771234
    Eg: if multiple numbers;
    Oof add: 7771234, 7772222, 7773333, 7774444, 7775555, 7776666, 7778888, 777999, 777000, 7777123
5 To find out the current numbers in your personal list:
    Eg: oof list
6 Delete a number from your personal list:
  • OOF DELETE followed by the numbers to be deleted, using a comma to separate.
    Eg: Oof delete: 7771234
    Eg: If multiple numbers;
    Oof delete: 7771234, 7772222, 7773333, 7774444, 7775555, 7776666, 7778888, 777999, 777000, 7777123

      What are charges for the service?
      This service is provided to all postpaid customers FREE of charge. However you will be charged MVR1 for each SMS sent to 146 to set up OOF.

      How do I use the service?
      Enable: your personal message.

      For example, oof enable: I am currently traveling overseas. For urgent matters please call my secretary on 332 2802. I will be back on the 10th.
    • 3.
      Can I send the personalized SMS to only a selected number of callers?
      Yes. You can define a list of up to 10 numbers so that your personalized SMS will only be sent to these numbers.
    • 4.
      Will I be charged for the personalized OOF SMS that is sent on my behalf?
      No. You will not be charged for the outgoing SMS.
    • 5.
      I have caller notification feature activated, will OOF also work at the same time?
      Yes. Both the features will work simultaneously.
    • 6.
      What is the length of the SMS I can compose to enable OOF?
      You may compose an SMS up to 140 characters when you enable the OOF.
    • 7.
      How many times will a caller receive OOF notification when he keeps calling me repeatedly?
      If you have the OOF feature enabled and you are not available, the caller will get the OOF notification immediately, but he will not receive the notification if he makes a call for the next 60 minutes.
