And you can have scheduled Top-Up from your Prepaid and Postpaid friends and family.

  • GST will be charged at 6%* on Recharge/Reload amount at the point of sale.
  • * If sold in a tourist establishment GST will be charged at the prevailing tourism sector GST rate.

    1 Use the Recharge Vouchers and follow instructions on the back.
    2 To Recharge, call 151 or send an SMS to 141 in the following formats:
    • * 141 * followed by the 16 digit voucher number # and press

  • QUICK RECHARGE AND QUICK TRANSFER
    1 Quick Recharge - Getting a Postpaid account holder to transfer credit to your phone.
    2 Quick Transfer - Getting a Prepaid account holder to transfer credit to your phone.
    3 The Postpaid and Prepaid account holder will have to:
    • Register for the service. Send a “REGISTER” SMS.
    • In the “REGISTER” SMS with your own Unique Customer ID.
    • Once you register, you will receive a PIN that you will use for all your transactions.
    • The system will use your Customer ID to verify your identity if you lose or forget your PIN.
    • Send an SMS to 144 in the following format:

      TRANSFER<PIN><recipient mobile number><amount>

      *Each SMS to 144 is MVR 1, whether or not the transaction is successful.
      You will not be charged for receiving a Transfer SMS.
    4 You could change the PIN number, unregister and many more by sending an SMS with the keyword.

    *Prepaid account holders must have sufficient balance in their prepaid account to allow the transaction to be successful.


Terms and Conditions

Quick Recharge

  • Postpaid customers can send any amount from MVR1 to MVR100 in MVR1 increments.
  • A transfer can be only to a Dhiraagu prepaid mobile account that has a validity period remaining.
    If not, the transaction will be unsuccessful.

Quick Top-Up

  • Prepaid account holder should have sufficient balance in their prepaid account to allow the transaction
  • Prepaid customers can send any amount from MVR1 to MVR500, in MVR1 increments
  • You should have a validity period remaining. If not, the transaction will be unsuccessful

*The maximum credit balance that a prepaid account can have is MVR5000.

  • FAQ
    • How do I top up my mobile?

      To recharge your account press *141* followed by the 16 digit voucher number, # key and press SEND.

      Eg: *141*12345678912365478# and SEND

      Once successfully recharged, you can see a flash message on your mobile screen and also receive an SMS confirmation.

      You can also call 151 and follow the voice instructions to recharge your account.
