      • 30 Destinations T&C
        The following terms and conditions apply to the weekly lucky draws (together referred to as the ‘Lucky Draw’) organized by Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun Plc (DHIRAAGU) for its 30th Anniversary.

        • The Lucky Draw is subject to these terms and conditions including any amendments and/or modifications thereof (collectively referred to as the “Terms”). Any variation to these Terms shall be published on the DHIRAAGU website. All DHIRAAGU customers who are entered into the Lucky Draw are deemed to have accepted the Terms and agree to be bound by and comply with the Terms.
        • DHIRAAGU shall endeavor to have 15 weekly lucky draws commencing on 1 October 2018 (For the avoidance of doubt a week is considered from 0000hrs on Monday until 2359hrs of the subsequent Sunday during the Lucky Draw period)
        • All eligible service numbers for each week shall be entered into the respective draw.
        • The weekly prize winner will be picked at random from the entrants every Tuesday via live stream through DHIRAAGU’s official Facebook account. Where the date has to be changed for circumstances beyond our control the new date and time will be notified on the DHIRAAGU website.
        • The prize for each weekly winner is a trip for two people to a destination from a choice of 30 destinations provided by DHIRAAGU. 
        • To enter into the Lucky Draw, each customer acknowledges and accepts that he/she shall meet the following eligibility criteria:
        • Entry into the Lucky Draw is open to all DHIRAAGU customers except for corporate customers and customers using Tourist Sims who shall not be eligible for entry. 
        Employees of DHIRAAGU and their immediate family members (spouse and children) are not eligible for entry.
        • The customer must be active on DHIRAAGU’s network at least 30 days prior to the date of the Lucky Draw.
        • For the avoidance of doubt: Prepaid services customers have to make at least one recharge, top-up or a call at least 30 days prior to the date of each respective draw; and for Postpaid services the service number should not be suspended at the date of the draw.
        • The customers’ service numbers will be used as the unique identifier in each draw. A customer using multiple DHIRAAGU services shall be entitled an entry into the Lucky Draw for each service subject to the eligibility criteria as stated above.
        • Entrants understand and acknowledge that further verification and eligibility requirements as stated below shall apply in order to claim the prize if picked in the Lucky Draw.
        • Eligible customers represent and warrant that all information submitted to DHIRAAGU is accurate and truthful at the time of entry into the Lucky Draw.
        • A prize winner shall not be eligible for subsequent draws in this promotion. This applies to all service numbers registered under the prize winner’s name.
        • The prize will be awarded to the registered owner of the service number at the date of the Lucky Draw.
        • Winners will be announced on DHIRAAGU’s website and DHIRAAGU’s social media accounts. The winner will be notified via phone and SMS on the contact number provided to us as soon as practicable after the announcement date. DHIRAAGU shall attempt to call the winners at least three (3) times and if a Lucky Draw winner is not reachable or does not respond within one (1) week of first attempt at notification, the customer will be disqualified and a new winner will be picked. DHIRAAGU shall not be responsible if a customer is not reachable on the number provided to DHIRAAGU.
        • Winners picked in the Lucky Draw shall satisfy the verification requirements.
        • In order to claim a prize customers agree to provide necessary documentation such as a valid National ID card or Passport.
        • If the customer has an outstanding on any of his/her services, it should be cleared within 30 days in order to claim the prize failing which the customer shall forfeit the prize.
        • By accepting the prize, winners consent for DHIRAAGU to use their name, image or photos for publicity and marketing purposes in any medium.
        • In case a customer is deceased, the prize can be claimed subject to ownership change in accordance with DHIRAAGU’s requirements in such circumstances.
        • Lucky Draw prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash. 
        • The prize shall be provided through a third party travel agent and insurance company chosen by DHIRAAGU. The prize does not include the cost of transfers to and from airports or stations. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
        • The prize winner shall be responsible for ensuring that the prize winner and chosen companion travelling with him/her are available to travel and hold valid passports, any necessary visas and travel documents for the holiday in question on the travel dates specified.
        • Once a booking is created under his/her name, the prize winner accepts and acknowledges that it is non-refundable and the prize winner shall bear any costs involved for date change and any No-show fees. 
        • If a prize remains unclaimed or if the prize winner fails to provide required information and documentation within two (2) months of notification the winner acknowledges and accepts that the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be picked.
        • If a prize winner is unable to come in person to claim the prize to the DHIRAAGU Head Office or its Regional Centers he/she may appoint someone else to collect it on behalf of him/her provided that the nominated person provides a duly signed letter from the prize winner and submits a copy of his/her National ID card and that of the prize winner.
        • DHIRAAGU accepts no liability for any damage, loss or injury (including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss and loss of chance), except for a liability that cannot be excluded by law, caused or suffered as a result of entering the Lucky Draw or accepting a prize.
        • Any Customer who enters into the Lucky Draw is deemed to have read and understood these Terms. Entrants acknowledge that any violation of the Terms or any attempt at tampering with the Lucky Draw shall result in disqualification of their entry.
        • These terms and conditions shall be governed by laws of the Republic of Maldives, and shall the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Maldives for any disputes relating to these Terms if not resolved amicably by discussion.

        Effective 5 November 2018, in each week of the Lucky Draw, DHIRAAGU will pick three (3) numbers during the Facebook Live with the prize winner being the first number picked at random. In the event the winner is not reachable or does not claim the prize as provided in these Terms, the registered owner of the second number picked shall be entitled to the prize. The same process above shall apply in the order for the registered owner of the second number to claim the prize, failing which the third number picked shall be contacted.
