This service allows Dhiraagu mobile customers to get the US Dollar exchange rates of all Commercial Banks in Maldives via an SMS. The information is sourced from Maldives Monetary Authority and will indicate the last updated date and time from the banks.

How do I use the service?

There are few options of getting the exchange rate information and you may choose any of the following that is convenient for you:

1. simply send an SMS to 240 with the Keyword ER, and receive the information via an SMS or


2. dial Dhiraagu Mobile Self-Care Menu *123# and browse the Information section to get foreign exchange (FOREX) rates or  


3. dial *123*2*8*1# as an alternative shortcut.

What is the charge for this service?

Rf 1 will be charged per SMS sent to 240 or each time you select the US Dollar menu on Mobile Self-Care.
