The SMS Directory Enquiry Service allows you to send any fixed or mobile number as an SMS to 131 to check the name and address of its registered owner. These include all numbers available through directory enquiry service and e-directory.

(Please note that unlisted numbers are not available through directory enquiries and e-directory)
 

How do I use the service?

To check the name and address of the registered owner, simply send an SMS to 131 with the keyword "Dir" and the phone number (separated by a space).

The resulting SMS will be as follows: 3322802: Dhivehi Raajjeyge Gulhun Plc, Ma...

 

What is the charge?
