A Post-paid mobile connection is like any other telephone connection, where you get a SIM Card, use it and pay for your monthly bill based on rentals, plan charges and usage charges etc.


How do I get a Postpaid

Postpaid service registration is currently available from our Customers Front Offices and Mobile Shop in Male', When you apply for the Post-paid Service we may ask you to keep a deposit.


Enhancements to Friends and Family

We have now enhanced the Post-paid Friends and Family (FnF) Scheme with 5 Dhiraagu numbers and have been packaged with Post-paid Packages. With this enhancement, you can make unlimited free calls and get 15% discounts up to 5 Dhiraagu numbers, depending on your package. (For more information, please refer to the Post-paid packages).

If you are already in our FnF scheme and would like to add NEW numbers to make unlimited Free calls, please advise the numbers to be removed in case your total FnF numbers exceeds 5.

For eg. If you have subscribed for our Gold package and have already taken 3 FnF numbers but would like to add 3 NEW Free numbers, please advise the number to be removed from existing FnF scheme.

We will activate 3 Free numbers as you have requested but discounts to existing 3 numbers will only be applied once you advise us the number to be removed from existing FnF. If you wish you can also request to cancel the existing 3 FnF numbers and add 2 new numbers for which discount should be applied.

Important points to note

When applying for Postpaid service all customers should keep a deposit of minimum Rf 500 per line, with or without IDD service except platinum and Diamond customers. Customers applying for platinum and Diamond packages should keep a deposit of Rf 1000.

spacerWhen upgrading customers should increase their deposit which can be done in increments of Rf 200, and are applicable to all customers. Customers are advised to keep a deposit appropriate to their usage and ideally it should not be less than the package monthly fee. For eg. if you subscribe for a Diamond package, the ideal deposit amount will be atleast Rf 650.

spacerAll foreign nationals applying for service are required to pay Rf. 1,000.

spacerDeposit customers must note that once your charges exceed the deposit level, outgoing calls from the mobile will be barred, while you will still be able to receive incoming calls.
The mobile will be reconnected once a payment is made to reduce the outstanding charges below the deposit level, and there are no overdue bills.

spacerYou also have the option to increase your initial deposit to match your average usage level.

We have also introduced an SMS reminder service to our
deposit customers to advise and remind them before they reach their deposit limit.

Foreign Nationals and Foreign Investments should keep a minimum
deposit of Rf 1000 per line.

Credit worthiness checks for local customer will be based on past six
month's records

All foreigners should either keep a deposit or send a guarantor letter

 
 

Deposit for International Roaming Service

No deposit is required for customers with average monthly bills over Rf 1000 and paid all on time over the last 6 months.

A deposit of Rf 1000 per line is required for customers with average monthly bills under Rf 1000 and paid all on time over the last 6 months.

Platinum customers are also required to place a deposit of Rf 1000 if the average monthly bills are under Rf 1000 and paid all on time over the last 6 months.

A deposit of Rf 2000 per line is required for all other customers. (Also applicable to Platinum customers who fall to this category.

 

Will I get a refund ?

Please note that the deposit will only be refunded upon termination of service and after all outstanding charges are settled.
