How Do I activate my TouchNet prepaid account?

Simply insert your TouchNet prepaid SIM card into a phone and recharge using your complimentary Rf 100 voucher. Once you have successfully recharged your account, your TouchNet prepaid account is activated.

How do I use TouchNet Prepaid?

Simply insert your activated TouchNet SIM card into your TouchNet modem and install it on your PC. Purchase a TouchNet Data bundle according to your reference and you are ready to use the smartest, simplest and the most convenient Mobile broad band in the Maldives.

How do I top-up my account?

After activating your TouchNet prepaid SIM card, you can simply recharge or reload any value to your TouchNet prepaid. Recharge cards are available in Rf 50, 100, 200 and 500 or choose to Reload from Rf 8 to Rf 1000. When you recharge your TouchNet prepaid, you will have a Rufiyaa balance to purchase any data bundle available for TouchNet prepaid. You can also use your account balance, to send SMS and Make voice calls.

How do I purchase a TouchNet Data package?

It’s very simple. Simply send an SMS from your TouchNet Prepaid number, to 443 (for FREE) in the following format.

ADD(space) RECHARGE VALUE and send to 443.
Eg: ADD 30 - Send the SMS to 443.
SMS sent to 443 is FREE.

How will I know if my data package has been activated?

Upon successful purchase of your TouchNet Data package, you will receive an SMS, confirming your package and validity.

How do I check my balance?

Simply send an SMS to 727 from the SMS module and you will get your Prepaid account and data balance instantly.

What will happen if I send SMS for a denomination which is not available for TouchNet prepaid? Eg: ADD 75

Your purchase will not be successful because, only the following packages are available to TouchNet prepaid customers.

If I don’t purchase a Data package, can I still use my TouchNet prepaid to use internet?

Yes. If you have Rufiyaa balance in your TouchNet prepaid account, you will be able to use Internet and will be charged at 90 Laari per MB.

How do I check my TouchNet prepaid balance?

Simply send a blank SMS using the modem’s SMS application to 727 (for FREE) and get your Remaining data balance, Expiry, Rf balance .. etc.

Do I have to keep my TouchNet prepaid account active, to use my Data package?

Yes, your TouchNet prepaid account validity is totally different from your Data package validity. Your TouchNet prepaid account validity is determined by your recharges and reloads and is the same as the existing Dhiraagu prepaid service. Your data validity depends on what package you have purchased. However in the situation where your purchased package data validity is greater than account validity, the system will automatically increase the account validity to extract date of data validity.

I have 50MB remaining and it expires tomorrow. Can I purchase another data package? What will happen to my unused Data allowance?

Yes you can purchase a data package any time you want. If you have 50MB remaining and expire tomorrow, you can still purchase any Data package today. And the best this is, you will be able to carry forward the remaining Data allowance with your new purchase. Eg: You purchase data for Rf 200, with 1638MB and a validity of 30 days. Your data allowance will now be 1683 (1638+50)MB and will be valid for 30 days.

What if I don’t want to use a TouchNet prepaid package, how can I remove the current package?

You can simply use all your Data allowance and then keep on using on a pay as you use basis. If you have Rufiyaa balance in your TouchNet prepaid account, you will be able to use Internet at 90 Laari per MB.

What will happen if my Data validity expired? Will I be able to carry forward my balance data when I recharge of reload next time?

We are sorry; In this case you will not be able to carry forward your unused data allowance.
