What is Colour SMS?

Colour SMS enables you to add colo u red fonts, add themes and emoticons to your SMS.

How does it work?

To use C olour SMS, download and install the application to your phone memory. Both the sender and receiver should have the application installed on your mobile.

Open the Colour SMS application and compose a new SMS, with coloured fonts, spice it up with a cool theme or add emoticons and click send.

Can I send long SMS using Colour SMS?

Dhiraagu Colour SMS supports 140 characters therefore 1 SMS will be treated as 140 characters.

How do I know if I receive a Colour SMS?

Once a Colour SMS is received the application will automatically open the inbox and you will be able to view the Colour SMS.

Accidentally I sent a C olour SMS to a recipient who does not have the Colour SMS application installed, what will happen to the SMS?

The SMS will be received in your normal SMS inbox, however the recipient will not be able to view the themes and emoticons. Sometimes the SMS may be garbled as well.

Can I send Colour SMS to non Dhiraagu mobiles?

Yes you can send to non Dhiraagu and International mobile numbers as well. However they will receive the SMS in their normal SMS inbox as a normal SMS.

Why am I not being able to download Colour SMS?

To download the Colour SMS application you will have to connect using DhiWAP profile. Also refer to the list of supported handsets. You will be only able to download the application if your handset is supported.

Every time I try to send a Colour SMS I get a prompt on my mobile phone, what should I do?

Colour SMS is a Java application and it is the mobile handsets behavio u r to notify you when the application is sending an SMS. Just click “allow Application to send SMS” and enjoy this cool service from Dhiraagu.

My phone does not support colour SMS. What will happen if I send a download request to 333?

You will not be able to download the colour SMS application and download fee of Rf20 will not be charged. However Rf1 will be charged for SMS sent to 333.

I tried to download the colour SMS but could not download successfully. Will I be charged?

If you are unable to download full application, you can retry one more time free of charge. If you are unable to download the application , we suggest resetting your phone and trying again.
