Dhiraagu BlackBerry® service enables Dhiraagu Post-paid customers to access and use all the functionality of their Blackberry devices (Internet, Email, Blackberry Messenger etc.) with Dhiraagu Blackberry Data plans.

It is a product offered by “Research in Motion” (RIM). The service allows customers to send and receive email from their devices, browse the Internet, use Blackberry messenger and install and use a wide variety of third party applications.
BlackBerry service allows you to stay in touch with everything that matters to you while you’re on the go. Email, phone, maps, organizer, applications, games, the Internet and more.

Do I have to purchase another SIM to use this service?
No. You may subscribe for BlackBerry® service as a value-added service to your existing post-paid SIM card.

What do I need to do to activate the BlackBerry® Service?
It’s very simple.
- First of all, BlackBerry Service is activated for Dhiraagu Postpaid service Customers.
- Fill in the BlackBerry application form and submit it to Dhiraagu Mobile Shop. You may download an application form for Dhiraagu BlackBerry Service (click here) or Visit Dhiraagu Mobile shop for more information.
- You will need an unlocked BlackBerry handset which you may purchase from a local shop or from overseas. Please ensure that your smartphone is not locked to any operator, or is properly unlocked to be used on any network.
To which Post-paid packages will BlackBerry® Service be activated?
Dhiraagu Blackberry Service is very flexible. Enjoy your postpaid package for voice and SMS, and simply subscribe to a BlackBerry Add-on to enjoy instant emails, IM, and your favorite Social Media.

I have Mobile Internet package activated on my number, do I need the package to enjoy BlackBerry® Service?
Once you opt for a BlackBerry Add-on, any Data plans subscribed will be removed and you will be able to enjoy your FREE Data allowance for BlackBerry Premium and Premium 2 add-ons. Once your Free Data allowance is over, you will be charged at 1Laari/KB.
BlackBerry Intro is the pay-as –you go offer, where Mobile Internet will be charged at 1Laari/ KB.
Is there a BlackBerry offer for Individuals and Corporates?
Yes, there are 2 types of BlackBerry service available:
a). BlackBerry for Individual
b). BlackBerry for Corporate
What services can I use on the Dhiraagu BlackBerry® service?
Dhiraagu BlackBerry® customers will be able to use: Instant Email, Google Business Mail, BlackBerry Instant Messenger, Google Talk, Face book, Twitter, YouTube and other Social Media
How do I know if my handset is connected to Dhiraagu BlackBerry® Network?
If the Blackberry device is not locked by any operator you will see the BlackBerry icon , next to 3G or EDGE / GSM in Capital letters.
Can I access my corporate email from my BlackBerry® device?
Yes, to access corporate email account from your Blackberry device you need a Blackberry Data plan and an email service plan. Please contact your Account manager for more information on activating Blackberry service on your corporate email.
Can I access my personal email account with my BlackBerry® device?
Yes, you can add your Gmail accounts with Gmail application for Blackberry device. You can download Gmail App from http://m.google.com and other Google applications.
Can I access the Internet using my BlackBerry® device?
Yes. You can access any Web site that has been optimized for access on a mobile device using either html or wireless access protocol (WAP).
How do I check my BlackBerry details?
Simply send an SMS to 727 for Free or access Dhiraagu Mobile Self Care Service on *123# and check your postpaid bill balance. You will receive and SMS with your Post-paid package information and BlackBerry service information in one SMS.
Is it possible to change from one BlackBerry add-on to another?
Yes, you may change your BlackBerry add-on once every month.
I have to leave for a short course; can I suspend my BlackBerry Service?
We are very sorry, but the BlackBerry add-on service will have to be removed before your Post-paid service is suspended temporarily.
Can I use BlackBerry Prepaid while roaming?
Yes, you can use BlackBerry service while roaming. However, you will be charged at the applicable International Roaming rates for Voice and SMS, and applicable International Data Roaming rates for using Mobile Data/ Internet.
