This service allows Mobile Post-Paid customers to check their outstanding and unbilled charges by simply sending an SMS to 727.

 

This service is FREE for Postpaid customers.


Residential Customers

 

To find out your outstanding and unbilled charges simply send a blank SMS to 727 or an SMS to 727 with the keyword “BAL”.

Eg.
Step 1: Compose an SMS with the text BAL
Step 2: Send the SMS to 727. (727 is the destination number).


The last billed amount, due date, outstanding and the unbilled charges will be notified to you via SMS within seconds.


Eg.
Your last bill was Rf 100.01 and is due on 23/07/2002. Outstanding is Rf 100.00. Unbilled amount is Rf 200.05.


Note: If you are a Government or a Business customer, please submit a completed application form.


Government and Business Customers


Upon registration by submitting a completed application form, you will be provided with a password.


To check bill balance, send and SMS to 727 with the keyword “BAL XXXX” where XXXX is the password you have been provided with.


Eg.
Step 1: Compose an SMS with the text BAL ABCD. (Where ABCD is your password)
Step 2: Send the SMS to 727. (727 is the destination number).


The last billed amount, due date, outstanding and the unbilled charges will be notified to you via SMS within seconds. If you are a deposit customer, you will also get your credit limit.


Eg.
Your last bill was Rf 100.01 and is due on 23/07/2002. Outstanding is Rf 100.00. Unbilled amount is Rf 200.05.


Change your Password

You can change your password as often as you like. Always choose a password that is easy for you to remember and hard for others to guess. Your password length is a minimum of 1 characters and maximum of 8 characters and maybe letters, numbers or a mix of both.


Step 1: Compose an SMS with the text PASS ABCD AEZO. (Where ABCD is your current password and AEZO is your desired new password).

Step 2: Send the SMS to 727. (727 is the destination number).

If the password has been changed successfully, you will get a confirmation SMS.


Disable Password

If you do not wish to use a password, you can disable it at any time.


Step 1: Compose an SMS with the text STOP ABCD. (ABCD is your current password).

Step 2: Send the SMS to 727. (727 is the destination number)


Once the password feature is disabled you can check your account details by simply sending an SMS with the text "BAL" to 727.


Confirmation message:

Dear Customer, You can now check your account details without a password. Write an SMS with Bal and send it to 727.


Enabling Password Again

 

To enable the password feature again, please follow the steps given below.


Step 1: Compose an SMS with the text START ABCD (Where ABCD is your password)
Step 2: Send the SMS to 727. (727 is the destination number)


Forgot Password?

If you have forgotten the password, you will need to submit an application form. You will be notified with the new password.
