You can now pay your Dhiraagu Bills online using Bank of Maldives Internet Banking Service. Simply submit an application form to BML and you will get your user name and password to make online transactions including payment of all Dhiraagu phone bills (fixed line, mobile and Internet bills).

This gives you the freedom to make your Dhiraagu bill payments any time of the day or night.

 

How do I apply for the Internet Banking service?

Fill in the Bank of Maldives Internet Banking Application Form (available from Bank of Maldives Branches) and submit it to any Bank of Maldives Branch. In your application you do not need to provide any information relating to your account in Dhiraagu. Application forms will be made available from Dhiraagu at a later date.

 

How long will it take to activate the service?

Bank of Maldives will activate the service within 10 working days. Once the service has been activated the Bank will inform you.

 

How many Dhiraagu accounts, can I pay via Online Banking Service?

You can pay for any number of accounts. You can even pay your friends or parents bills provided that you know their account numbers. Account number is printed on Dhiraagu phone bill under the heading “Customer Account Number”.

 

What Dhiraagu bills can I pay Online?

You can pay any Dhiraagu bill including fixed lines, Internet and Mobile bills.

 

Do I have to pay the total billed amount?

No. You can pay a minimum of Rf 30 or the full billed amount.

 

Whom shall I contact if I have a query regarding an amount deducted from my Bank Account?

Regarding such queries, please contact Bank of Maldives Card Centre 24hrs helpline on 3330200.

 

How long will it take to update my Dhiraagu Account, when I make an online payment?

Currently any payment made before 2200 hours will be updated before 1100 hours the following day, as per the following schedule :

  Saturday/Sunday  Monday
  Monday-Wednesday    Following Day
  Thursday Sunday
  Public Holidays  Will be informed later

 

How can I cancel the service?

To cancel the service you may write to Bank of Maldives Card Centre and the Bank will implement it within 10 working days.

 

Is there any extra charge for paying my bills online?

No.

 

What will happen if I made the payment to incorrect account number?

If you have made a payment to an incorrect account number, please contact Bank of Maldives hotline on 3330200. Dhiraagu is not responsible for any payments made to an incorrect account number. All disputes relating to online bill payments should be raised with BML.
