How do I top up my mobile?

To recharge your account press 141 followed by the 16 digit voucher number, key and press SEND

Once successfully recharged, you can see a flash message on your mobile screen and also receive an SMS confirmation
You can also call 151 and follow the voice instructions to recharge your account.

 

Should Recharge Vouchers be used within a certain period of time?

Recharge vouchers don't have any validity period. Customers can keep recharge vouchers for years unless it is recharged.


Denomination Validity:

Rf 50 -> 45 Days
Rf 100 -> 90 Days
Rf 200 -> 180 Days
RF 500 -> 365 Days

What happens if the validity period of the Recharge Voucher expires when I still have credit?

When the validity period of the Recharge Voucher expires, your account will be suspended and you will not be able to make and receive calls. To again be able to make and receive calls, you have to recharge your account as stated above. When you recharge your account, the remaining value in your account will be carried forward.

 

What will happen when my account is suspended?

Even if your account is suspended you can call free phone 151 to top up your account at any time. As soon as you have recharged your account successfully, you will again be able to make and receive calls.

If your account is suspended for 180 days, it will be permanently deactivated and any remaining value in your account will be lost. If this happens, your SIM can no longer be used and you would need to re-apply for the service and buy a new Connection Kit. It will not be possible to retain your previous mobile phone number as every Connection Kit comes with a unique and personal number.

 

How can I check my account balance?

To check your account balance press 142

Your account balance will be displayed on your mobile screen.

You can also check you account balance at any time by calling the free phone number 152 from your mobile phone.

 

Can I top up my account whenever I wish to?
