Call Queue service allows your organization to automatically greet your caller with a pre-recorded customizable greeting message and place the calls in a queue if all your phone lines are busy.
Typically, the greeting message would inform the caller that the call has been placed in a queue until an operator is free. If your lines continue to be busy after the initial message, the caller will hear music followed by a second message such as “All our operators are still busy, please hold”. This message will be repeated with music in between, until the call is answered by an operator or the caller hangs up.
The basic service can queue up to 5 simultaneous calls. As operators become free, queued calls automatically get routed to operators on a first-in, first-out basis. Callers are not charged while they wait. |
