Call Queue service allows your organization to automatically greet your caller with a pre-recorded customizable greeting message and place the calls in a queue if all your phone lines are busy.


Typically, the greeting message would inform the caller that the call has been placed in a queue until an operator is free. If your lines continue to be busy after the initial message, the caller will hear music followed by a second message such as “All our operators are still busy, please hold”. This message will be repeated with music in between, until the call is answered by an operator or the caller hangs up.


The basic service can queue up to 5 simultaneous calls. As operators become free, queued calls automatically get routed to operators on a first-in, first-out basis. Callers are not charged while they wait.

Call Queue service is not suitable for residential customers and organizations that have their lines busy for an extended period of time.

 
Where is the Service Available?
 

Currently this service is available for ordinary (non-ISDN) fixedline customers in Male', K.Vilingili, Hulhule', Hullhumale., Eydhafushi, Kulhudhuffushi and on islands with telephone number ranges 660XXXX, 662XXXX, 650XXXX, 652XXXX, 664XXXX, 665 XXXX, 666XXXX, 668XXXX and 670XXXX.

 
Customizing the Call Queue Messages
 

The messages that callers hear when they are in the queue can be customized. To do this, you need to provide us a recording of your desired messages. Please talk to your account manager at Dhiraagu or call our Customer Services to find out more details.
